Damn, I was hoping to get this before my holiday!!

By the way this site seems to be running very slowly today. I have checked out four-thirds user which seems fine. Does anyone else have this problem, or is it just me?

FTU is on a different physical dedicated server.

Some maintenance work is underway on DPNow today so there might be some occasional slowness, but I haven't noticed anything myself.

Realistically, I don't think the odds will drop that much - we have around 60-70 regular users out of the 2000+ registered users. I would be very pleased if we got the regular user count up to 200 or so and not all of those will necessarily have met the draw criteria of 10 posts and 5 photo uploads.

Is this an ongoing event every month? I have loads of photos to post but only became more active on this forum after a move from E-System Forum on buying a Canon outfit a week ago. Hate to have missed it!

Ian, our service contract is up in November so we'll look for a new supplier. We're taking our current supplier to court via the Better Business Bureau.

I don't tend to upload photos here because my photography talents are a little poor to say the least. I'm often snapping when out on my walks, but there's precious little to snap so the results are not worth other people's time.

No doubt Ian will come along soon and confirm but I think I can safely say there's NO WAY Ian will be winding down the other forums! The idea was/is to boost traffic to DPN.

DPN was Ian's original forum and many (most) of the Oly users left us when FTU and the e-system boards were created. It's good to see so many looking in again now.
