  • DPNow pages getting stuck?

As some of you already know, we're trying to solve an issue which appears to randonly afflict DPNow article pages. For some of you it can crash Internet Explorer. FireFox seems more resilient, but a symptom is that an ad may not appear and there could be a delay in the page opening. Others report error messages concerning scripts executing on the page.

I only ever see the occasional missing ad after a short delay in opening the page. As it seems to be ad-related we've updated our ad serving software and made some other changes and this morning I can't replicate the problem at all.

That doesn't mean it's fixed as there have been some false dawns in the past.

So if you still experience glitches on article pages, please email [email protected] with some details so we can get to the bottom of the problem.

    Thanks,

    You have Mail

Good luck sorting this out. I've tried four machines this end and can't figure out why sometimes it works on one and not on another.

I've made more changes this morning - none of the pages Graham pointed me to seemed to have problems at my end - I'm cautiously optimistic...

That seems to have done the trick

I tried the links I sent you (with corrected case ) in compatability mode and they all worked. I then re-tried them in normal IE8 mode and again they worked.

I'll clear my cache, history, etc and go through them again but I think you have fixed the problem.

        Much appreciated
