Breezy again today so I just did a couple of low altitude flights of the Lower and Upper Buttermilk Falls near my house. I also wanted to do a comparison between a video screenshot and a still photo.

      The screenshot is 1920 x 1080 and the still image is 4000 x 2250

I then enlarged the screenshot to do comparison and it still looks pretty good.

      Here's a short video.

Is this near to where you live, Pat ?

You are lucky to have such fabulous views there. I would have to travel miles to see anything like that.

Yep. It's a five minute drive from the house.

The Local Access TV station asked me to put together some footage of the local area yesterday. I used the "Droney'" feature and then used my editing software to reverse the footage for the opening. You've seen much of this short clip but I thought I'd post it anyway,

I'm in Barr1e's debt for calling my attention to the Mavic Mini. For the price, it can't be beat.

Thanks for sharing that. Wonder how often you'll get asked to do similar by the Local Access TV Station. It's good to be wanted by others and to be able to oblige them.

I'm happy to help them. Each winter they loan me a top quailty camcorder to video our Tuesday ski and snowboard races. The station then airs the footage.

They also air our Travel Channel videos even though most have nothing to do with Vermont.

This one will begin airing next week.

That looked to be a great trip you and Penny took.

Barr1e inspired me with his indoor flying so I tried it today. I need to get smoother on the controls!

Great flying Pat - I was flying yesterday in our office/shack checking the latest updates from DJi, it really needs a run out but Anne and I are so restricted to home at our ages due to the lockdown
                shopping only allowed.

When flying in the house I find putting the drone in C (Cinematic) it tends to make smoother flying conditions.

                Keep them coming please.

Clever! Not sure I would fly it indoors. A very versatile machine.

I've started taking shots of friends' houses. I'll mount them on either foam or backing board. I'll take aerial shots of some of the restaurants in town too,

Here's one I took a couple of days ago. It will be mounted on 11 x 14 backing board.

When I purchased mine I opted for a combo version which offered extra batteries and a cage to help beginners or for those who fly in confined spaces as seen here - along with a couple of extras.

A great idea Pat - you are certainly putting you thinking cap on.

Pleased the local TV station make good use of your talents.

                            It's the only to fly.

Congratulations on joining the ranks of Pilots - sporting the right gear too.

More drone video of our community garden and a nearby pond. And no, I wasn't tempted to fly between the rock and the waterfall.😎

                            Thanks Pat -

Your skill rate is climbing - I have lots to learn after we rid lockdown here. I liked how you captured the drone at the end.

                            Keep them coming please.
