  • EyeOne Pro spectrophotometer with iO robot arm (colour management)

I am selling an EyeOne Pro with the iO robot arm and a dongle protected copy of ProfileMaker 5.8 for n-colour devices.

The device has been used for testing a small number of printers. No more than 50 sheets have been measured. It is in perfect condition and especially suitable for professional photographers and photo service firms who need to create profiles on a regular basis.

That's a serious piece of kit. Curious to know why you are selling it?

I have a couple of Eye One Pros but not the robot arm accessory. I have found that Eye One Pro is not as good as I had hoped in profiling some LCD monitors, incidentally.

The reason why I'm selling is twofold: it takes up a lot of space (the iO), and I need the money...

The EyeOne Pro is a spectrophotometer; that's why it performs subpar on LCD calibration. For monitor calibration you need a colorimeter like the EyeOne Display II or the popular Spyder.

Yes, I find that the Spyder3 colorimeter works better on LCDs than the EyeOne - as I mentioned in my review last year:
