Beautiful image Pedar, I just love those colours - very natural (just wish I didn't have to scroll up and down and sideways to see all the picture. It would be nice to see it all at once.)

              Hello Pedar

I have just found out why I am viewing your pictures so large

It is because sometimes if there is a lot of text for me to read on the internet, I press Control and scroll my mouse wheel and it enlarges the text. Unfortunately, I did not return it to the default position and was viewing your image a lot higher than 100%.

I also have a 24" screen and it looks fine as you originally posted it now. Please accept my apologies.

I have to say, Stephen showed me the error of my ways, as he said that he could see all your photograph without scrolling, so some good has come out of my mistake and I shall remember it next time a photograph overfills the screen.

Re: Show your spring pictures here.

We went for a walk by the side of a local canal last week and I saw (and smelt) these Wild Garlic - otherwise known as Stinking Nannies.

Re: Show your spring pictures here.

I was given 2 fresh eggs as I save egg boxes for my friend's daughter who keeps chickens.

We were going to have boiled eggs for lunch when I thought I had to have a pic as they were such pretty colours.

So I got the scrim (window cleaning cloth), crumpled it up, took the buttercups (from canal walk) out of the vase and 2 oak apples (also from walk) and on window sill, took 2 snaps and this is what I have.

I hadn't got time to take anymore because Roy was doing the toast! It's a pity really, because I think I would have liked to study the exposure more to get it more even, but anyway, I thought I would show you.

NB They don't look quite as rich here as they do in LR or PS for some reason.

This is a really nice shot Stephen. It looks like an image made from a slide.

Love the way the fly looks like it's just nicked the pollen and anther (had to google that bit!) and is doing a runner!
