      I am going to be totally wrong...........

      But I would have thought the first photo was England, and the second was Scotland.

        Half right. second is Scotland in Sutherland on the road from Drumbeg to Durness

        The first is the Australian Highlands just north of the Blue Mountains
        Truly Scottish in nature as we passed through Aberdeen and Scone
        You can tell where the scottish transportees settled down

        Tasmania has even more Scottish names - the Ozzies borrowed the idea and transported their bad uns to the island
