I've done a fair few festivals this summer - this is from the beginning of September, a punk band on the second stage so I was standing right in front of him:
Nearly overlooked this. Superb, as per usual, Caz.
I always enjoy seeing your on stage shots.

I covered much ground today taking advantage of the late summer/autumn sunshine revisiting the fields of sunflowers and some fields of summer fruit and culminating in visiting the area we see a variety of butterflies. Today just whites and the odd Red Admiral.
Sunflowers close to harvesting.

Thank you Garry - the agency images are up for that festival but currently suffering a bit (!) of an editing backlog. About a third of the way through the band albums but had to put that on hold because next up was a wedding - followed a week later by a trip up to Leicester on the Friday for a blues gig, then a festival on the Saturday in the other direction (Reading).
Just about finished the wedding, the agency pictures are sent (as well as my partner's review) and awaiting publication.
Still bogged down in editing the festival before last - but I liked this band, the Last Great Dreamers and so did the crowd. I like shooting at the Sheffield O2: it's easy to get around and you can switch between the balcony (like here), then turn round and go across the landing into stage 2.

Love the lighting to this. You captured the atmosphere and the action well, Caz.
Also like the viewed area. Makes a change from the closer stage shots.
Bet you enjoyed the evening.

One of the groups I belong to on Flickr is having its twice yearly "a photo a day for a month", which takes place in April and October. Still a challenge to take a photo every day, but at least it's not a 365!
This was my image for Saturday, taken through the car window whilst waiting for t'other half to collect his glasses. Wasn't sure whether to post it here or in the mobile section, particularly since there's currently a discussion on mobile editing apps, and this was edited in Snapseed.

Some years back. I ran a forum where I think it was three members who did the 365
Brave souls. Produced some very good images though, and received good support from the rest of the members.
Nice image, Caz. Colourful even though it was a dull day. I have downloaded Snapseed and have started playing with it.

A "friend" on Instagram recommended this band to me - had great fun with the fisheye. You can't tell that I've badly scratched it (I'd had a fall the previous evening over trailing wires in the second stage pit). Shiraz Lane are a young band from Finland.

Looks like the fisheye lens worked very well in the circumstances. No sign of a scratch from viewing the photo.
Hope you didn't injure yourself in the tumble. Like the photo as always. Full of colour and energy.

Thank you Garry. Very, very bruised - left arm, both knees and one shin. 6 weeks later, and I've still got a mark on one knee. The agent said I should stop for the night, but I sat out the rest of their set and then went back to work - I just had to sit a lot more. That was the first night, very stiff the second day so it was shoot then sit and take off the cameras - I shoot with a double harness at big festivals, 5d3 on one shoulder with a 24-70 or 70-200, and the fisheye on a 7d on the other. You're wrecked after 2 days - and I've got a 4 day festival coming up next month, in Wales.
