Re: My Image of the Day
A long day last Saturday - over to Northampton bright and early to get my glasses reglazed (+5.25!) and pick up a lens that's not repairable from the shopSo no more Sigma f2.8 105mm (not that I used it much) - it was no longer focussing. Too old for parts.
Then on to the train and down to London to see Young Frankenstein (the Musical). Fantastic fun, and you can see that Mel Brook's was involved.
We got into London mid-afternoon and the plan was to go to the National Gallery but it was heaving, so we rambled around Trafalgar Square instead and, as a music photographer, I took this with my phone as I'd left the camera at home.

Re: My Image of the Day
It was done in-phone but I made a mess of it, stop started and won't get another chance unit next week so I just uploaded what I have.
I'm just grabbing whatever I can whenever I can, not easy with torn ligaments, a frame and a wheelchair.
I won't be beaten though, the assailant will NOT destroy everything.
That's Nicola, a psychologist. Her team leader first helped me in the main hospital.
I talk about it now. It's not MY shame, it's HIS.
I keep trying, keep going. She's taking me out again next week. We'll see how it goes, depends on weather, time of day, state of my injuries.

Re: My Image of the Day
Thanks, Barrie. It gets very frustrating at times. I had dropped down to just 5 st when David died, lost log of muscle. 6. 13 now so improving. Love your anniversary pic. David died 3 days before our 43rd. His mum exactly 4 weeks later. I adored her, best mother-in-law ever.

Re: My Image of the Day
Flypast. Taken with my EOS-M and 20mm f2 lens. Still using the original EOS-M, although I have to say I've been tempted to upgrade to the M5 (or, lately, the M50) but still reasonably pleased with what I can get.
