Getting close now to finishing editing the most recent festival, from Wales at the beginning of March - ready for the next one in Sheffield, next week.
My six year old grandson repeated as US age group National Champion in both ski racing and snowboard racing at Squaw Valley, CA last week. He told me he needs a longer snowboard!
Here's his current board. He's posing with two-time Olympian Nate Holland.
Thank you for your kind comments. Last week, we had a few days away to belatedly celebrate t'other half's 60th birthday. It started with me driving to Golder's Green to a B&B (without the second B...) and getting the Tube into town. What I hadn't realised was that himself used to live very close to Golders Green, so it was a real trip down memory lane for him. I'd chosen a trip on the Eye because he'd left London before it opened, and had never been on - so a natural choice and, since it was a special birthday, I booked a Champagne experience and the final "flight" of the day - mainly for me, because I thought I'd get the sunset, but by the time we got up high enough we were slightly too late. Still, I like blue hour too!
And the following day we went down to Bournemouth. Offered a choice of various National Trust properties, we ended up at Monkey World.
So, looking the other way, over the Palace of Westminster:
