Well done Stephen, I got bogged down in France. I think I might have even looked at this place and dismissed it thinking of vineyards.
Many years ago I must have passed this place on a train on my way to Innsbruck.

The bridge in the distance, just to the right of the point-and-shoot camera, is a motorway viaduct; the motorway having a single-number identifier.

Hmmm, difficult, not sure in what direction the image is. But there are West Country balloon flights to be had, so I am going to guess at Somerset. There are railways and the M5.

In that case, I will guess Bristol Balloon festival floating into Wales and photographing Newport. There are definitely Railways, Bridges and Motorway close by. lt's a long time since I visited there and I can't remember much about the place.

I think I know this but I won't answer unless we get bogged down. I seem to remember seeing it when you posted a similar picture on E System user, fine picture.
I'm just confused about the clue of the single number motorway, if I'm right(and I may be way off) isn't it a double number?

My mistake, you're quite right. I was mistaking the bridge for one nearby carrying a single-digit A road. The motorway just there is double-digit.
