I think it probably is, yes.

This is one of the earliest Greek Revival buildings in England. It was built by the local landowner as a replacement for the mediaeval church (which he was busily demolishing without the consent of the local bishop, who was mightily p***ed off!). This (the new church) was designed as an 'eyecatcher' to be seen across the park from the house.

BTW, although the bits visible from the house are stucco, it's just brick round the back.

I'm gonna really be struggling to give you a clue as there's very little that's noteworthy in the area apart from this impressive building.

Suffice to say it's what's left after certain events in the 1530s, one of those that became parish churches rather than stately homes.

In my defense, only 113 former abbeys, friaries etc became parish churches, about 10%. Most were lost completely but some were converted to stately homes. Most parish churches were founded as parish churches.

The building was a house of healing. Put that together with "no drink allowed" and see what you can come up with.
