Phew!!St Ives.I've been here but have no memory of the the bridge.Probably went with my parents when I was a stropy teenager when my sister live just north of Cambridge.

Well done - that lasted a LOT longer than I expected! I liked your suggestion of Bedford Bridge - I remember seeing it on the news when my dad accidentally "damaged" it when his lorry blew up: someone had left the calor gas on under the thermoplastic tub but the flame had gone out. Unfortunately a passerby threw a lighted cigarette on to the back of the lorry.

The river was very high when I visited just after Christmas - the highest I've ever seen. I was going to post this one, of The Waits but couldn't be bothered to blur out St Ives Town Council from the street furniture:

The Where is This was shot from just past the last bench on the right - the boat ramp had been totally under water over Xmas.

Another clue, this stands about 500 yards from the UK's longest river.

Yes you're right.It's now part of the University of Worcester.The fence is there while they landscape the grounds around it.If it looks like the plans it should be really nice.
My daughter spent her first year at Uni in the halls on this site.The Old Infirmary looks really nice now it's been cleaned up,I like the building a lot.
