There's a clue to the country (and therefore the capital city) on top of the tower inn the second photo.

After identifying the City Hall with the help of the 3 crowns I searched the waterfront and found AF Chapman youth hostel in Stockholm.

Spot on Mark. We paid our first visit to Suffolk a few weeks ago. Lavenham is amazing- never seen so many buildings leaning both ways at once. Not much call for spirit levels is there.
