Yes it is Temple Newsam set in a large country estate in east Leeds. The park lands and surrounding woods are a joy this time of year. The woods being smothered in blue bells, shorty to be followed by the rhododendrens and azealeas in the park.

CLUE: There is a Country Park, Nature Reserve and a Castle in this vicinity in the South of England.

Is it Anvil Point lighthouse near Swanage? If so, the globe and 'castle' are presumably in Durlston country park?

Everything's obscure if you don't know it! I think the answer could be people should be able to have a chance of seeing where it is. I know the gates of Towcester race course defeated everyone for a couple of weeks: there was a lot of trawling up and down the A5 on google maps!
