You're smack on ya handsome devil you. Over to you you silver tongued old fox.
Just because cliches are cliches does not make them wrong. I do like walking in the rain.

I don't know if there are more than one of these statues around the world, but if so I will start giving out more clues tomorrow. For the present, I want to know where the statue is - not where the background is!

Hang on a minute what place is it then? Or have I missed something?

          It is Blarney Castle.

I don't think any clues are required for this one. I tried Google images search and discovered that there are a few thousand images of this view! Must be the easiest one ever!

You are correct. Taken during the Montreux Jazz festival a few years ago.

I uploaded another one - but then found I'd left the title in and hadn't renamed it - and I can't remember how to delete images from the gallery. Serious senior moment!

I know where this is, but I think other people should have a chance. I don't remember seeing that bird there on the numerous occasions I have walked past this spot.

Ah, that bird knew I was making a pilgrimage to one my old haunts... I used to work to the left of that church back in the early 70s.

                          Caz,

You'd need to go to 'edit image' then there's an option to delete if you scroll down to the bottom of the page.

You can find the options if you click on the small, white downward arrow top right of your gallery page - the place where you click to open an image exif.

                          Hope that helps.

                          Pol

Thanks for that Pol, you're a star!

Somewhat OT - don't have a camera with me today except for my phone and that's worse than useless. Just seen what I thought was a pied wagtail - but it had a bright yellow rump?

Maybe it was a Yellow Wagtail?

Here's a link to the RSPB site, though there are lots of pics to be found on the Google image pages too.

I reckon this looks like the market in Cambridge
