With profound apologies to everyone snowed-in in Northern Ireland, Scotland and the borders, and to our southern hemisphere friends, I'd like to set this year's Spring challenge
OK, my example above is simple and not very challenging, but I'm sure you can do better!
There are no prizes or anything, let's just enjoy a stream of beautiful images of Spring - all I ask is that they are taken THIS year!
Spring time... the lake is still frozen, but the ice is starting to melt. It is melting just enough that the water sitting on top of the ice has picked up the reflection of the clouds in the sky.

That is so beautiful and although I think I shall post a spring flower, it is so nice to see spring in another part of the world.
Thanks Autumn! I always have the pleasure of viewing everyone else's photos from Ireland, Scotland and beyond.... so it's nice to be able to share my view of the world in return! That's the beauty of photography!
To show you southamerican or just Argentinian spring, I will have to wait until next september So I am sorry to tell you that I have no pictures for this challenge. Best regards to all, Horacio
Found two things today one was that I still have a camera the other was the incentive to use it Heres spring in my garden.
Good on ya, Mike. He who dares, eh.
I'm about the same. Slithered out into the garden yesterday, managed to slither along the sodden earth without falling over or dropping the camera. It was a close thing once or twice but thanks to a trekking pole and a trellis I managed to stay upright and stagger along to a small patch of blue that was pushing it's way upwards.
Not very good but it's the best I could get without breaking my neck (or the few battered blooms still reasonably clean).
Here's a Scilla Siberica (Siberian Squill) - Spring beauty.
