Re: Waterfalls
Lovely Stephen. They always make a good subject. Sometimes, the mass is so great and beautiful, it is difficult to pick a focus point with so much movement. Is that a Levada on the left of the fall in the second picture?
The best we have ever encountered were in Croatia - the Krka Falls - and I had never heard of them before going there.

Re: Waterfalls
Thanks Audrey, its actually a path, but frozen over due to the spray from the waterfall. They had closed it to the public presumably for safety reasons.Originally posted by Autumn View PostLovely Stephen. They always make a good subject. Re: Waterfalls
I agree. Having a person in the frame really helps the perspective.
Great pictures.

Great perspectives, Stephen
That park seat seems to have been positioned facing the wrong way if you ask me

Re: Waterfalls
Many thanks Barrie, though I don't understand your comment about not enjoying the 'taking' of them. I'm presuming you mean photographing them, but why would you not enjoy itOriginally posted by Barr1e View PostI enjoy looking at waterfalls but not the taking of them. You are ahead in the craft of taking fine pix and you have done well.

I like very much the huge differential height between the waterfall and the woman and the sense of depth. Regards, Horacio.
