  • Black and white London

    Dear All,

    As some of you may know I enjoy the odd day out to London (See the links)

    Anyway, Over the past seven days I have spent a couple of days in London with my family and took along the E P1. All of the pictures below and at the link were taken using the B&W filter and shot in jpeg as I have decided to wait for the lightroom update to recognise E P1 raw files.

    I spent the days looking for pictures that would work well in B&W either in terms of textures or in terms of imagining what pictures of London once looked like before colour film.

    I hope you enjoy the pictures and as always please feel free to comment.

    I like the street market shot the best, has a real 60's gritty B/W feel about it.

    I have some old Photo mags from the 60's & early 70's with shots like this, the old Kodak Tri-X push developed to a high ISO.

      Great stuff! Certainly adds a different perspective to the average 'London' shot I think, a nice diversion.
