Thanks for the feedback sorry you do not like the grass but it was the look I was going for. It is enough out of focus to not really get in way . Here is another one of her on the beach and her friend Lou who was also a load of fun to shoot.

Hi Pops No I think you will find they are the real deal .Also the quick story behind the photos. Becca joined my photo group last week and was very keen to do a shoot. Sunday was very slow going so I asked her at about 2.30 if she was up for a shoot and by 5 pm we were all on the beach. We talked abit about what sort of photos or styles they liked. Well they just blew me away when Becca said that she like the idea of party dresses in strange places ie in the woods and such like. Lou who is very much a tomboy if I can still say that not sure if it is PC any more lol wants to do goth and punk style photos. Well was I happy "yes" but when they both said they wanted to trash some dresses well what could I say .

I liked the 'Emily' shots best of all. She seems to have a natural smile and is indeed very pretty.

I will be shooting Emily again as she wants some photos of her with the rest of the family also another set of her and her boyfriend. Please bear in mind that it is the first time I had meet any of these people and it not easy for them I guess.

Well I'm gonna be the odd one out here, the awkward cuss if you like BUT - I love the effect the grass creates and I'd even go so far as to say I LOVE this photo.

I feel the overall focusing creates a very nice 'dreamy' effect and I like it even more because you created it in camera, rather than using PS filters to get that effect.

I have seen loads of photos with the same effect and I have always like the style of this type of photo. Yes it was all done in camera. I used a 50mm 1.8 lens set at 1.8 1/250 and iso 100.
