I haven't uploaded much here lately - partly because my uploads all failed... and I'm way behind on editing.

These were taken at a Living History day at Canons Ashby House in south Northamptonshire last month.

Hi Caz, can you describe the problems you have had with uploading? Which browser and version do you use?

Ben (coupekid) has had problems too, but I have had none at all.

      Re: Living History

      Hi Ian

I use Firefox, and now have 3.5.1 which does seem to be working better.

When I tried to upload, I'd get the image processing dialogue but when I entered the info no images would appear - I tried uploading 2 or 3 before I got fed up!

No problems at all this morning...

        Super series of shots.

Is the guy in the 3rd pic who is on the right as we look at the picture still with us?

        Regards. Barr1e

Definitely - at least he was when I spoke to him at the end of the day!

The one I was worried about was the sleeping gent in the final pic - sat quite close to him for about 15 minutes and he didn't stir, or look like he was breathing. I was about to speak to him when he woke with a start... I know I'm a first-aider, but.......

              Re: Living History

Thanks for the comments - I was going to upload a couple more, but the gallery upload thingie is back to its old tricks.... processing images, tells me it's uploaded successfully and then it's not there...... whatever

So I have 2 choices here - I can either upload from my flickr account (which means no exif is shown) or keep trying.

Anyway, I was trying to show a picture of the house itself, which is a National Trust property:

The full size image is at:
              [ame]http://www.flickr.com/photos/7889951@N07/3742162429/[/ame]

There are also images of the private church on my flickr stream, since the uploader isn't playing at all now

So if anyone visits there, give me a shout - I'm only 2 miles away and know darn near as much about the property as the guides
