  • Aston and Austin

    Dear All,

Took a run out to the Cotswolds last week and thought I would share some pictures from the evening.

    Best Regards

    Josh

    Very nice, Josh

You aren't a vet by any chance? Julia's brother is a vet and one of his mates who is also a vet and he has DB9 (correct me if I am wrong!) just like yours, I think.

He let Julia take it for spin - and she managed to spin the wheels on the drive, I kid you not!

      Hi

no not a vet. Never even had a pet . I work in biotech.

Re the car it is a vantage. I have had to almost re-learn to drive it is so powerful compared to my previous car. Really nice though. Still getting used to the reaction it gets. People point, wave and even come up for a chat. I guess we love a British sports car.
It has also given me a chance to try another new photography topic although as you can see I am far far away from the quality you see in car mags and brochures.

      Best regards

Gorgeous photographs of some lovely cars.
As a car fanatic (as if you hadnt guessed) I am very envious Josh!
If ever you are in or around Bracknell, let us know! ! !

Personally, my favourite is the first, I love the mono, superb!

The last one is lovely too, however, have you experimented by cropping a little off the top to just leave the poppy field? (sorry, I know this isnt a critique request)

            Hi

thx for comments. My fav is the first as well. Re the last just been to check to raw file and yes I did crop a really really small bit off the top. Do you think it works? I have some from a different angle that contains more scenery. Here is the link.

Nice stuff - our future son in law is an AM technician. He really likes the DB9.

Thanks. I must have looked a little strange as I drove my car around the Austins setting up the next shot, hoping the owner didn't turn up.

                  Best regards
