The photo below was taken in the evening. As sometimes happens at dusk the light becomes more yellow. I captured the scene with a Tokina 12-24 wide angle lens using my Nikon D80 on a tripod. I bracketed the exposure using Aperture Priority. I later blended the images (HDR) using Photomatix Pro3.
Experience has shown me that the setting in this software should be "middle of the road" . The resulting tiff file had a really great tonal range but was a bit dull. Photoshop treatments included sharpening using the high pass filter, noise management using Neat Image, slight adjustment to hue and saturation, and levels. Each adjustment was carried out on a seperate layer permitting the use of quick masks and selective development of areas. Anyway, that is that.
