Gone Fishing.....

.....not me as I was out and about with camera in hand. Unfortunately I couldn't carry my big camera bag today but managed quite well with the Fuji F100fd.

A great way to relax.

This was the third bream the angler had caught this morning. It was pleasing to see how gentle he was with his catch before returning it to the canal.

It is something like 48 years ago I fished last. I found the scales and sometimes slime not to my liking.

Looks like a nice restful way of spending the day, sitting by the riverbank. And bringing your tea home too! Your fisherman had more luck than the lads we were watching over here on monday afternoon, there were bits of broken fishing line all over the place, and not a fish in sight.
