The background is in fact my neighbours shed and not something I have added. I just felt it deserved a frame for presentation.

I particularly liked the second image - it looks as though the wind is just gently ruffling the chest feathers

The photo itself was cropped and I used High pass at a value of 1. The background is my neighbours shed and was about 10 or 12 feet behind the subject which gave a nice dof. I was about 12 feet from the subject.
I did of course add the frame etc for presentation.

Brand new and treated with a rather bright preservative a bit like mahogany on top of which the sun was shining....yes I did say 'sun'
