    A big hello to everyone.

To set this shot, I took time to get Harvey's mother distracted on ebay because although Harvey and I have met a few times now, he likes to take his time to get to know you. I started playing silly games with him and cbeebies on the TV and let him climb on the coffee table! )

He was very engaged with me and I kept talking to him while taking shots. He decided he wanted to take a closer look at the camera when I pressed the shutter on this one.

Even though my camera skills left nothing to be desired on this particular shot, it was nice to capture "discovery".

Gina it is not your camera skills that matter with this type of picture, it's your approach to your subject and your patience that has won through. I love the expression on this child's face, and I bet Mum was also pleased.

Yep, it's an interesting story, Gina OK, so it's not in focus, but this is the kind of shot that means being out of focus can almost lend itself to the final effect. I like it (though maybe only because I haven't seen a version that was in focus!)
