Dreadlocks, Antigua

I spotted this man on the beach carrying a chair for is lady friend and just as I was about to take a photo, he turned round. I had to ask him if I could take a photo of his hair so he turned his back to me and then asked if that was how I wanted him, so I suggested he looked over his shoulder. His girlfriend is looking very coy. I also like the old gnarled tree in this picture.

I like this a lot - the girl, sitting, adds that little bit extra and the man's expression is intriguing. I also like the composition with the tree

Wow, that hair is really long!

Surely that would take years of meticulour care avoiding the bifurcation of the hair threads...
