Fort Grey is a Martello Tower in Rocquaine bay the west coast of Guernsey. It is now open as a local history museum. The rock upon which it is built was known by the name Chateau de Rocquaine (Castle of Rocquaine), and was supposed to be the locations of witches' sabbats. It is colloquially known as the "cup and saucer".
You may remember I took more or less the same photos here last year but at sunset. I was not overly happy with them as i know I made mistakes with the filters. So here for now are a few I took this morning. Oh and I will be back at a later date for some more sunsets.

in a good or bad way. I was a fair ways down the slipway so the camera was looking up at the fort that would not have help the verticals I did not change them as I was hoping to get away with it
.. I also prefer the second one reasons being that the rail does not cut in to the rocks and also the movement on that bit of rope is not so bad. The reason for taking them was to try out both my 2 and 3 stop filters during the day. You may remember the the photos I took of the same place last year were the nd grad filters were to low and messed up the slipway. I just wanted to see how the non grad filters would work out. So as far as that test went I am happy with the out come.

. I was also testing out the filters as I said before so was happy with the outcome.
