Good dof and it's also nice to have some sense of scale and environment showing where the bird is perched. Good composition with visible space for the bird to fly into.

Thanks Jojo, Ian and Pol for your comments, i am now working on getting a good image of our most recent visitor. For the last four days we have had a Goldcrest on the feeders but being one of our country's smallest birds it is difficult to get a clear shot......JIM
