Very nicely presented Denis with the table beautifully laid, but I am trying not to eat that type of food! My husband said "It's a pie!" (with longing)

          Re: Have You Shot Something.....

One morning, as day was breaking, I went into the kitchen to put the kettle on.

As the water started to boil, the pilot light was reflected through the water. Obviously, this happened every time the kettle was boiled, but it was only because it was dark (you can see the day breaking) that it was obvious.

Hi Dennis, the latest version of Adobe Camera RAW is now G1-friendly (though only for CS4) The usual work around is to download the latest version of the Adobe DNG converter, convert G1 RAW files to DNG and then process those in your version of PS if it's earlier than the CS4 version.

Dennis, I don't want to hijack this thread, but I notice these shots look incredibly sharp, have you applied some extra sharpening. Also particularly in the second shot I notice there are some jaggies along some of the straight edges, why should that be? Apart from that, they are cracking pictures though

                  Hi Audrey and Dennis -

I was drooling over the pie Dennis (one of my favourite meals) but then Audrey posted a super pic fom Cuba - how I would love that car, too big for Santa's sleigh.

Thanks for the canal shots Dennis.

                    Re: Have You Shot Something.....

Some shots from our shopping trip to London today.

These are my last pix as I feel I have possibly run the thread as far as it will go - unless others prove me wrong and add to it.

One for Peter. Opposite Hamleys toy store Regent Street.

One for the young ones. A charming greeter at Hamleys toy store.

One for the big boys and girls. Carnaby Street.

Thanks for that. Now that is such a nice red to look at. I went to the toy store a few years ago when me and the wife came over for a shopping weekend. We did not have the kids with us but we just had to go and have a look around the place.

Oh and if any of you guys go and have a look around the new store let me know what it's like.

I never know when to let things lie, Anne and I were out delivering leaflets for a friend to day when we spotted this box. I thought it would be a good way to close the thread - unless you have something BLACK to add.

Just a small tweak and cropped.

No Barrie, I am not in the shot as I took the photo. My mate is the figure on the right. He was unfortunately killed in an accident when he was eighteen.
