This chap scared off the Robin...and yes he is inside the bird house


Would have preffered this without the Chaffinch in the b/g


when the Bluetit flew off I was able to get this

Lovely sequence as always Pops, I notice the blue tit isnt as sharp as the rest, why are these birds so hard to photograph? is it because they never stay still long enough?

Nice shots, birds are like kids .... never still. And squirrels have a knack! of always party crashing. Like the time they carried off 40 lbs of Walnuts, I climbed a mountain 3 miles to collect.

Your right Mowgli. The little ones are so difficult to snap...they are always bobbing around...eat eat eat

Pops that is a really good set you have there. I like the squirrel as it is something we do not have over here so it is out of the norm so to speak. I have tried the odd bird photo in the past but I just cannot get any great shots so I take my hat off to anybody who can. Well done.

Great sequence Pops! An awful lot of patience is required to photograph small birds! Because of the constant movement, I managed to get only 2 or 3 shots that were in focus out of many shots taken & hours waiting for that perfect timing & shot! I salute you Pops!

Thanks for the comments. Guess I'm just lucky with birds.
Yesterday (Friday) I had a ride out and came back with 38 landscape shots.....I binned everyone of them.

Hi Pops

I realise that squirrels are pesky little chaps but they are great to photograph.
