Taken this morning, despite the gloomy skies!

This was saved using PS CS4 save for web but once again the exif metadata has been lost.

Fascinating things aren't they? Not the easiest to photograph either, particularly the low growing ones.

I like my G3 and the Fuji as I can see what I am taking with these cameras with the tilt and turn viewfinder. I have never been up to taking a plastic bag and lying down to take a photograph.

Now I know you have not put it in the critique section, but I feel I would like to see a little crop on the right and perhaps a similar amount off the top to retain the aspect ratio.

I don't suppose I would have done it, but I expect Graham will say you should have done a bit of gardening first to give a clearer view of the stem and underneath the mushroom.

A good topic, perhaps we should make it the start of a new section whereby people can add their own efforts - some of them are so attractive.

I have virtually no knowledge of gardening, but if these are edible, I would probably have wanted to see a bigger crop

No problem - but you will have to test, er, taste them before I eat them

You certainly did Ian. There was quite a lot to get rid of there.
