Re: Why scissors?
I'm only guessing here, but could it be a reference to Threadneedle St. the site of the Bank of England. The street was also the site of the Merchant Taylors Company. The scissors therefore are a tayloring reference I suppose which has led to a reference to the B of E. .............................. well it makes sense to me

I forgot the address ,
I think you've cracked it !.
Anyway it's a pity but Ive had to remove the Macro on the advice of Patrick and erase the picture from my HDD.
Thanks for the tip off Patrick and could you remove the link in your original reply.

Re: Why scissors?
I'm a little surprised about photographing notes. There are loads of professional sites selling pictures of notes. Sure it must be illegal to photograph them to reproduce them but close ups of part of a note seems OK. See link. http://www.fotosearch.com/SDC165/283814sdc/ or Google for more.Originally posted by WILT View PostI forgot the address ,

Re: Why scissors?
Hi Rod,
Well it wasn't an important picture just a bit of fun so Why risk it? I must confess to have seen pictures of bank notes over the years but there's lots of little "jobsworths" out there and I cant be bothered arguing the toss. I ve got enough on my plate with the Norsemen!
