    This was taken last week the same time and place as the buzzy bee shot, this little fella actually really liked being photographed, I think it was because I was that close he could see hiself in the front of my lens

    Wow Ash, that's incredible.

    Look at the detail you've captured, esp. the eyes. How did you do it?

            Well, thank you very much for your comments, I never expect comments like this but when you get them it makes me very happy and even more determined to do better, I no the same as when you get bad comments, I no Im wierd

            I no that sounds daft but I have seen alot better insect shots on the internet, sharper and closer maybe.

            In reply to Gina, well it was my 150mm sigma macro lens on a d2x rested on a fence, which allowed the slow shutter which allowed the f11, which as you can see, still only gave me a narrow dof due to the focal length.
            Nice makeover Gina, your old shot always made me feel like I was in detention!
