On The Lookout

Just a day or so away from the rutting season. Stags normally travel in groups until the rut. Anne and I have noticed more on their own looking for does (cows) these past two days.

Fortunate to get this pose as normally when they see you they are off.

I like this Barrie - he stands out well against the background. A beautiful animal, the detail on his coat is excellent.

A marvelous view, Barr1e - well done! I think it could be adjusted very slightly to remove some magenta in the highlights, but that's a small quibble - what matters is that you got the stag in all his glory

I'm still not happy with my version to be honest. Your revised version is on the rich side, especially in the greens.

If you have a RAW original - I'd love to have a go at that...

I found there was limited scope for adjustment - I'd have been more at home with the RAW version if there was one , but how about this:
