Playing with hdr

When I was out last night I took 3 quick photos hoping to make a hdr picture out of them. I did not set the camera to auto bracketing which is where I think I went wrong. I must have taken to long to change the settings and this what has messed up the clouds. Oh well we live and learn. I do like the detail in the foreground rocks just wished I had sort out the sky. Having said all that i have not done a lot of hdr stuff so may be way of the mark so any feedback would help.

I see what you mean - a nice image otherwise.

At least it has given me some thought for the future shots I take with hdr in mind.

As soon as I saw what had happened to the clouds I knew I had messed up. Still like you say it has given me a clue to how things may look if I get it right.
I was hoping to go out today and try again but due to house hold duties ie helping with the weekly shopping it will have to be tomorrow
