      Re: Catching the sun

I got to the location at about 6.00am, took a few from by the slipway then carried on to the lighthouse, I took a few along the walkway, then as the sun came over the island I went up to where the fisherman were and took them as silhouetes. This was one of the best

I do like this - particularly the silhouette of the fisherman against the sunrise, and the way the puddle catches the light.

          Nice shot Mowgli, well observed.

I've recently decided to start fishing (fresh water) again after a 20 year lay-off so I'll be hoping to see some nice sunrises in the months to come.

Question is, should I take all my camera gear along as well...plenty of photographic opportunities on a river bank / lake-side..Or will it be too much of a conflict, perhaps I should leave it at home and just take a compact for the "look what I caught" pics?

              Hi Stuart

If I were you I would take a small compact, you dont want to be lugging heavy camera gear around as well as all those fish your gonna catch
plus theres always the chance it may end up in the water
Point and shoot at all your prize catches, we`ll look forward to seeing them
