The wife and I joined about 200 people on friday night, encouraged "to give up our comfy bed and sleep in a cardbard box", in an old castle in the north of our island, to raise funds for children in Africa. We arrived at just before sundown with our cardboard box and after a charity raffle draw and several DVD`s on the plight of the children (which was very moving) we all finally bedded down for the night at just after 12.00 am. There was a prize for the best decorated box, (we didnt win!) here are a few pics from the event

All in all it was a great night which ended with a cooked breakfast ( and a beautiful sunrise) and a release of 200 balloons
