Took Thomas to Chester zoo last week and had a great time, very busy though and found myself fighting several thousand kids all running around with their little rucksacks and packed lunches
Not been to zoo's much in my life, Ive always felt sorry for all the animal's being behind bar's or fences locked up, but over the years changed my views a little as zoo's do great work in conservation and breeding endangered species.
I guess if I had the choice of either becoming extinct or living in a zoo where you get looked after and fed plenty, you get the picture.
I found it a battle all day trying to get good clear shots of the animals with the tall fences and glass and simply the masses of people with it being the holidays, if your gunna go for photography then I advise a midweek visit when the kids are at school
