Tonights club night was all about macro. So I but in the bee one which I called walking on sunshine and the needle and wool shot which was called darn it. The bee won the a4 class and the needle won the 6x4 enprint. so as you can guess I am a happy bunny. Not out to brag but just so happy that all the hard work I put into them over the last few days as paid off. It has also really made me want to do more in macro so look out I hope to have more to come.
Hi Peter. Well done. Your photographs are stunning. I think to really put yourself out for a club competition often pays off.
Our club closes between May and September - we reopen on the 3rd September. I have been Programme Secretary for the past 2 years and will be for the next season. I think I shall let someone else have a go then.
Keep up the good work. You have inspired me to try something else.
Thanks guys. I was really chuffed to win both sections I did put a lot of hours into it. I find things like landscape and people pictures hard but macro is something i find that I like and is some respects like the darn it photo I can control.

Hi Peter, many congratulations - I especially like the needle and thread shot
Congratulations, Peter, well deserved. Nice to see the hard work has been acknowledged and rewarded.
I keep going back for another look at 'Darn it'. The lighting and dof is fabulous! I can well imagine how you must have spent some considerable time getting everything just right to capture the textures AND you've also managed to avoid getting too much reflection off the needle.
