I find the eyes to be very distracting (the white halo around the iris). and there's something about the composition that doesn't 'sit well' - not sure what it is. Maybe cropping below the hand (for a squarer image) would work better?

Thanks for the critique, however, it is merely a snapshot for a bit of fun. The picture wasnt posted in the critique section, as I am aware of its shortcomings

Its just a shot that amused me of my daughter with her hand covered in toast crumbs that I thought I would share with you all

Sorry for the 'critique', Ben - still new to the forum, and didn't realize I was showing poor etiquette! mea culpa.

I *am* jealous, tho -- I never seem to have my camera handy for candids like this.

Great to have you on board to offer critique. We have two main picture forums, one for critique, and one, this one to share pictures.

To be honest, I usually do a real 'no no' with my dslr, and leave it out on the side handy for situations like this (I can hear the rest of the DPNow group cringing as I write this )
