Aficionados can tell from which area, and even which commune the wearer of a head dress, la coiffe, comes from although the older, and very complicated coiffes are more rarely seen now as the younger generations are taking over.

Thoroughly enjoyed looking at them Roger.

The quality is very clear. They are a good record and reminder of what you have done.

We did a couple of 40's re-enactments about two years ago and I still like looking through my images.
