A few from the Wedding

Well, photographed another (and hopefully the last as an official photographer!) wedding on Friday.
My freinds Sasha and Tim got married on 08/08/08 as the number eight is lucky in Chinese.
We had a great day ending in a finally of fireworks.
I thought I would share a few of the results. Please feel free to comment

Lovely record Ben, I am sure that they will be delighted with them.

As you are asking for comments:

No 1. I like the pose and casualness of this photo, but I can see something square on the groom's leg, almost like a reflection through glass. The vignetting suits this, but it is a touch too heavy for me. (I prefer it to be a little less obvious.)

No 2. This one is spot on for me, the building, car and the bride. Lovely. I am sure that she will like this.

No. 3. Doesn't quite work for me. I don't feel that it is quite in focus and together with the vignetting, things don't seem to clear.

No. 4. Another nice casual one. I would straighten the horizon (if it is the horizon) and take a touch off the top.

No.5. I like this, however, I have attached my take on it. just a bit cropped off the left and straightened.

Two good firework pics to round off the day.

I am sure that your friends can't wait to see them all.

I think that you are very brave to do a wedding. I would have no idea and would be worried to death.

I really don't have time to do any sort of considered critique but on first glance I reckon you've done a very nice job for them, Ben.

I'm not so keen on the soft/faded framing on the 3rd picci because you'd got nice capture of the bride and grrom there but seem to have lost too much detail of her dress, veil and flowers. On the other hand their faces show good detail and that's great - so if the bride and groom love evrything about it that's what matters most.

Weddings are just hard work Ash, I was up at 6am, and didnt sit down for a rest until 11pm. Then of course, its time to go through all the pictures......
I do like photographing weddings, but not as the official photographer.
As I have said to my freinds that have asked me to do their weddings, I much prefer to photograph animals rather than humans
