This little Owl with the big eyes was taken at Betley annual Show yesterday. The Hawksview stand had plenty of birds and very helpful staff only to happy to help photographers........JIM

Very hypnotic.

Anyway, here's his dad! Not quite as hypnotic though. Taken at a local mini-zoo sitting in his cage behind wire mesh. I took it to prove to my son that if you get close enough to the mesh using a telephoto lens you can put it so far out of focus that it more-or-less "disappears". He believes me now
