I have myself a new camera and been out playing.
had a go at macro and dof. As this is realy my first time at it seriously, and its not a proper macro lens. I am quite pleased.

They all seem to be rather soft, which leaves me wondering if the front element of the lens was held closer to the subject than its minimum focusing distance would allow?
