Re: Sintra Palace (Tiled Room)
Great colours. Can I ask what camera you use?

Re: Sintra Palace (Tiled Room)
Josh - I use a Pentax K10d and this picture was taken with a Tamron 18-200mm lens which I use as my walkabout lens. As a point of interest I see from your profile that it says 'I started life in Manchester' - well just to let you know I started life in Rochdale !!

Re: Sintra Palace (Tiled Room)
Thanks.
Pentax cameras are getting some really good reviews re picture quality at the moment and I remember my dad having a film pentax SLR. I fell into the canon route via the 300d and once I had lenses then that was it. There is so much good choice for phtoographers these days.
Good to hear not the only North West person here.
Best Regards
Josh

Pentax has some superb pancake prime lenses and limited lenses. You can see a gallery from each lens if you go to http://www.pentaxslr.com/lenses
Select the lens on the left then go to the 'Pentax Gallery' on the right for a selection of pics from your chosen lens.
The pancakes and limited lenses are outstanding as well as being small and also very leightweight so you can have a range of focal lengths in your bag, or even your pocket, but with very little weight to carry around with you.
At the moment I have the 21mm pancake, the 70mm Limited and the 50mm 1.4 and David has the 40mm pancake - all are superb. We rarely use any other lenses since we got those.
The 70mm Limited is my all-time favourite lens but the 21mm pancake is rapidly winning my affections too.
