  • Something else a bit different

Was working at an event last week and one of the evening entertainment acts was pretty spectacular and worth a few shots. Thought you might like a look

Oh wow - they're superb! Fabulous colours and shapes!

How did they do it? Were they waving light wands or what?

I dare bet it was fascinating just to watch, let alone photograph.

It's fascinating to see how they were clearly working at the same beat and rhythm, therefore making equal patterns.

I'd ask Gert to beat time for me with light wands or but he has no sense of rhythm y'know. He's also so badly tone deaf it's embarrassing.

Indeed, it was all done to music, which of course made it all the more effective

You dont give much away in your exif data! Third one is the best, where you can see the human influence, what shutter speed were you using? maybe 500/sec
I do like the colours and the pics are an original content.
            cheers

Yes I stripped out the exif data as it contained info I didn't want on a public forum As for 1/500s you will have to think harder about that one

Actually they were shot at 1/4s and -1.5EV

Pretty darned spectacular I'd say, both what the entertainers were producing & your photography!

Great images Stephen, but I'm curious (or just being a bit of numpty?) as to what exif info and/or why you would not want to be available on a public forum? Is it something that the rest of should be concerned with?

Nothing for anyone to be concerned about jojo. Its just that this was part of a work job and the images contain certain business info, copyright info etc which I don't want to be available on a public forum, its certainly nothing sinister
