You have handled the white very nicely on this one Jocelyn. They are gorgous

      Re: Cockatoos

Thanks Pops! I guess most of my photos would look a little better if I used a tripod, but as you may know, when out with the family on these jaunts, they aren't keen to hang about waiting for one's photographic sessions! So, it's grab a pic as quick as you can sort of thing! Mind you, birds don't stay still too long either! The whiteness of the cockatoos is sometimes difficult to get looking good! We are lucky to have so many brightly coloured parrot & lorikeet type birds in this country, which I prefer, but haven't managed to take to many pics of as its difficult to get very close to them! They do frequent the suburban gardens but spend time high up in the foliage of indigenous trees!

At least you do get to watch them. Must be an amazing sight to see all those vibrant colours fluttering around

Yes, they are an amazing sight to see fluttering about! The Rainbow Lorikeets are even more amazing & look like Neon flashes flying by! This little guy flew in for a feed at a restuarant - Bistro area!

A shame this is a bit on the dark side. He obviously has some magnificent colouring.
