The effort of getting to such magnificent vantage points as you do, Andrew, - are well worth the effort

Oh Yes................. that hits the spot Andrew. I love the shot, there is that slightly surreal quality about it. The slope leads me down to the town and the plain beyond lit by that almost heavenly light and gossamer like haze. The crop also adds to the overall image, well done

It was not that much effort you can park you car about halfway up and its a short walk to the top

Thanks Stephen This is the kind of light HDR was made for. Very low contrast and a really bright sun just out of frame. 7x1 stop frames. Im happy you like it

It's a 100% belter, Andrew! That sky is amazing and you've captured it spot on with colours, clouds, haze the lot!

            Brilliant work, I love it!

What a sense of freedom comes from your photograph. Wonderful light, like looking through your eyes partly closed against the wind, shafts breaking through the clouds just so, in the right place.

An absolute belter. Would make a terrific wall mural

Very nice - I just hope I get the chance to shoot something as spectacular when I go to the Lake District in June (first time there).
