  • Rafting in bala

I wasn't very impressed with these results when I first loaded them onto the computer, technically ordinary, but on closer inspection, there is a little story in progress.
    What do you think?

I think you are right there is a little story there and its good to see it unfold in their faces. I only wish I didn't have to open all the thumbnails separately

I'm assuming the lady front left would be first in the firing line had the raft continued on course - the relief on her face and the admiration on her fellow paddlers captures a moment of joy and probably recovering heartbeats. Some grand expressions there.

Sorry about that Stephen, don't know how to put them all together without making them into a single image and then with the size limitations the individual images would be a little small.

The size limit is only applicable to attachments as I understand it. These particular shots will not be a problem anyway.

Linking to images in the gallery as most on here do, or even from other gallery sites, simply allows us all to see the photos inline and without the inconvenience of leaving the thread to view the photo on a separate page.

Now for fear of having you 'glaze over' I'll happily explain the procedure, it really is not that difficult, and would help us all out.

Sorry about the glazing over comment it wasn't personal just my own inpatients.
Incidentally the "Railway Man" was processed in the Lightroom 2 Beta before finishing in Photoshop. I decided I was being stubborn about the Library and to give it another try.

Please go ahead and explain how to put multiple images on a post without having to merge into one.

Patrick, in order to put several images inline in your post, they firstly need to be in your Gallery, and it seems that you already have one with several excellent photos in it. Now I have realised that Ian has already written an illustrated tutorial on using your gallery shots to post on the forum, this is HERE

So long as you have 'Original Image' selected and not thumbnail or anything else in the My Pics dialogue, then the full size image from your gallery will appear in your post and you can put as many as you want in the post.

Hope you can work through it, so we can get the full benefit of your photos in your post.
