Yes, I wanted to capture the shafts of light as it was quite magical! Somehow, they did not come out quite as boldly as the eye sees! In midwinter, the late afternoon mists amongst the trees, with the sun shining through, makes an even more impressive & magical sight! There are treeferns in the forest as well, which are a much lighter green, that seem to catch the light & create more atmosphere! There are mountain ash in the forest too!
